Addition to the Family

A few weeks ago, I went back to Singapore because my sister had a baby. Her baby's name is Jo Claire. Doesn't she look cute in the pictures? She was just five weeks when I saw her. Isn't she just pretty?

Today the EDB announced that the school closure will be extended. In a way, I'm sad that I won't be able to see you kids at school. But at the same time, I'm glad as I'm hoping to be able to head back to Singapore earlier so that I can see and carry little Jo Claire.

Write and tell me what will you be doing over the summer holidays. Hope you'll have lots of fun!

Shanghai

Since I've not blogged for a while, I've some photos that I would like to show you that I've taken during my travels.

During Easter holidays, I went to Shanghai with my husband. I've never been to Shanghai before that. I thought Shanghai was very beautiful. I liked its architecture. There were the old buildings standing right next to the new buildings. I really hope that the old buildings will continue to stand and not be pulled down.

This is the tram or train that goes up and down Nanjing Road. Nanjing Road is a pedestrian road which means no cars. People walked up and down the road to look at shops or simply to enjoy the atmosphere.

Can you see the building in the background? We stayed in that hotel. We liked the hotel. It looks like it's a very old hotel that has been renovated and refurbished. I like old buildings for some strange reasons!

The Shanghai art museum, was another place of interest that we visited. The paintings and exhibits were beautiful. But there was a slight problem. The explanations were all in Chinese and I couldn't read it. And my husband's Chinese was not that good to read too. Maybe, it's time for me to start having Chinese lessons.

This is Yuyuan Garden, a beautifully manicured garden that was preserved. There were lots of plants and fish. I had a good time exploring the garden.

At Shanghai, I met some of you that was on a school trip. I must praise those that I met. My husband and I felt that you were very well behaved children. We were very proud that our school has well behaved students. Behaved wonderfully on a school trip! Keep it up!

I know Easter holidays was quite a while ago. Write and tell me what you did. I'd love to read what you wrote.

School CLosure!!!

Dear Students,

I'm so sorry for not updating my blog. Been too busy with other things. I feel terrible. How do you feel about the school closure? Yesterday when EDB announced the school closure, I was a little disappointed because there are things that I need do with some of you but I can't do them now. I heard loud cheers from some of you when the announcement of the school closure was made. Know some of you must be happy to have extra holidays. But when I spoke to some of you, some were quite disappointed as you wanted to get over and done with your exams.

Write and tell me what you will be doing over the break. Tell me how you feel. This time, I promise that I'll reply!
